SOUTH AFRICA 26 Aug 1929 first regular Union Airways airmail service in South Africa inauguration flight cover from Port Elizabeth to Germiston (destination Pretoria) via Bloemfontein.  At Port Elizabeth joined Cape Town mail that were transferred to two relay planes for the Durban (via East London) and Germiston legs of the service.  The definitive 1d and 4d airmail stamp cancelled by two 26 Aug 1929 Port Elizabeth datestamps on the front.  (Arrival via evening train to Germiston as pilot had to overnight in Bloemfontein on 26 Aug 1929.)
