GREAT BRITAIN → SOUTH AFRICA airmail cover with 1924 British Empire exhibition stamps cancelled by 13 Feb 1925 London datestamp.  First flight Cape Town to Durban (government experimental airmail service) with S.A. AIRMAIL/S.A. LUGPOS 2 Mar 1925 datestamp on front that all mail from England on being sorted received.  Overseas airmail, which had arrived in the “Windsor Castle”, was sorted at the central post office before being conveyed to Wynberg.
