Aerogramme (Schoenfeld Type 9) to New York with 50c stamp that was the postal rate for aerogrammes to all countries in 1961. The stamp was cancelled on 9 May 1961 with the M1 State2 machine postmark that was used from 29 Jan 1955 to 8 Dec 1961 at the Kowloon Post Office. Although Scamp (2009) lists a number of varieties for this Type 9 aerogramme, the back of the aerogramme shows an unrecorded error with no space between the words “name” and “and”.
